Please note the following from the Alpine Executive:  The new Children’s Selection Policy document is circulated (December 2007) with the added proviso that because of the current changes (new appointments, etc) there may be some further modifications to be made with less than the usual full season’s notice, but these will be made with the approval of the Alpine Executive.

There has been a single amendment, agreed by the Alpine Executive (July 2008): Additional selection may be made of athletes who have chosen to follow an enhanced summer training programme, typically this would be in the Southern Hemisphere, where this programme has been approved by the National Pathway and Performance Manager. These athletes may be selected based upon video or DVD evidence plus coaches report provided to the selection panel by 31st August: these athletes must also achieve level 3 in the SnowsportGB fitness tests.
