Travel Arrangements - Abetone 2008

Travel from the UK will be by air, with an overnight airport stay at the Bushel & Sack Hotel, Chelmsford Road, nr. Dunmow, Essex CM6 1LP (Tel 01371 874442) on the night prior to departure.  Please arrive at 9pm, after dinner.  Tom Hutchison will be flying in from Scotland, and will be there from 9pm.  We will again be staying in the Sport Hotel in Abetone.

Franck Grumeau and Shirley Stevens will meet the group for the pre-arranged outward transfer to Abetone as follows:

  • Date of Travel - Wednesday, 2nd April

  • Meeting point - car park of the SuperU supermarket at the bottom end of the Méribel-Moutiers road, just before you get in to Moutiers after driving down from Méribel.

  • Time of meeting - aiming for an 08.00 departure, so please be there in good time to load the minibus.

Return travel for those not travelling independently will be coach from Abetone to Méribel, accompanied by Mrs. Shirley Stevens, departing after the prize-giving ceremony on Saturday 5th April, arrival at the Sports Centre in Méribel at roughly midnight - 2 am.

Return to Abetone 2008
