The Skiers' Trust of Great Britain has awarded us a generous grant towards the costs of the 2009-2010 season (as in previous winters) - we are extremely grateful.

The Skiers' Trust of Great Britain provides funding for young skiers, largely through bespoke funds maximised by gift aid. Please visit www.skierstust.co.uk for more information. We would like to encourage all parents to set up bespoke funds for their children, as already in place for The British Children's Team - this is one of the prime reasons for the Skiers' Trust's existence.

The Skiers' Trust provides funding for young skiers, and relies heavily on fundraising. In order to increase the level of grants in the future, they aim to increase their membership. Membership is only £25, subscriptions are treated as Gift Aid donations.

Children's Development Plan - December 2007: SnowsportGB is delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with a Charitable Trust, which will provide SnowsportGB with funding over three years to allow the implementation of a new Development Plan for the British Children’s Alpine Skiing. This is amazing news for us!!

I am delighted to announce that Rocketski has offered us the top prize for the 2007 raffle in support of the team, for the fifth year in a row!!! Many thanks to this excellent company for their offers of ski holidays with flights, transfers and half-board accommodation included - it will make it very easy to sell huge numbers of tickets! We plan to launch the raffle earlier this time round (at the end of May). A long run up to the Draw itself should ensure very high sales!

We are constantly looking for sponsors who may be able to offer financial or other support to the Team, so that we can provide better opportunities and support for our athletes in terms of training and racing.
